BRAD JEWETT

PERFORMANCE HORSES

Brad Jewett Performance horses was founded in 1998, and has to date produced multiple AQHA and NSBA World Champion riders, and horses. Brad Jewett is an AQHA and NSBA carded judge and an AQHA Professional Horsemen and APHA Professional Horseman member. Brad has been training horses professionally for 30 years and specializes in All Around riders and horses, and in preparing the collegiate equestrian athlete. He has coached multiple NCEA National Champion riders, and to top collegiate scholarships. Brad is best known for his training and coaching prowess and how to integrate those two aspects together. His ability to link the horse to it's rider is the key to winning championships. Although each event has its own nuances, Brad takes particular interest in the details of horsemanship.

A word from Brad Jewett: "To me, it's never been about World championships.  It's always been about the individual and their horse wanting to crush their goals that they've set out for themselves. This can all be very challenging to both rider and horse too. It is a very competitive thing that comes day in and day out. To me, the feeling of when my students have a grasp of what it takes to win at the high level and to know that they are going to a horse show, feeling like they have an opportunity to do that is what I look forward to. Then, when they actually get to that horse show and see what I trained was right makes me proud of the way train. This is just part of what I love about this industry; this is the thrill I seek which includes all the preparation it takes to become a world champion. There are so many aspects of horse training with even more different levels of horse training. I think the mental aspect of what we do as trainers and our approach to horses and this sport is what we love most."

ONLINE 1:1 TRAINING WITH BRAD JEWETT OR TIM KIMURA

We understand that training videos may not be enough or don't give you that sense of training you are looking for. We also appreciate the fact that having a horse trainer come to you can get quite expensive. For this, Brad and Tim along with the advancements of technology have come up with virtual horse training. Here, Brad and Tim can send you a link where either of these two professionals can speak to you and watch your techniques that you currently use in real time. This allows that training video monologue to turn into a virtual dialogue between you and your trainer. Both Brad and Tim are available for these kinds of sessions. We guarantee that Brad and Tim will take the frustration of horse training to an enjoyable method of learning and application.
